With some reservation I took a look at the site and was really blown away with all the features you can use.
What is Conduit.
Conduit is a site where you design a custom toolbar for use in browsers ( Firefox and IE ). You can give the toolbar to all your affiliates to stay up to date with everything you have on your site. The features you can put in the toolbar is vast to say the least. This screenshot gives you an idea of what can be placed in the toolbar.
Although I do not use the feature at present, the chat feature are great to keep in touch with Affiliates, if you like the one on one approach.
Add your own logo or use some of the pre-designed ones, link to your site, or any site for that matter. Own a blog? put in your RSS feeds, add great search features. Even a radio player and weather watcher.
With the E-mail Notifier, you can check all your accounts from Google, Yahoo, Hotmail even your POP3 accounts can be added.
Want to make some money, in the Conduit Rewards Program you earn money for creating a better toolbar. It’s as simple as that. The more value you provide to your users, the higher your Rewards will be.
Pay-per-install (PPI) method: Conduit calculate your Rewards using the PPI method. That means that for each installation, you earn revenue based on your PPI rate. The rate is determined by how engaging and “sticky” your toolbar is and by the geographical distribution of your users.
Promotion Bonus: To help you get your toolbar promotions going, Conduit will give you extra Rewards credit on top of the regular PPI rate for the first 30 days after you create your toolbar.
Cashing out: You can receive cash for your Rewards credit as soon as you have reached the first cash-out point. When you check your report in the Rewards tab, you’ll see when you’re qualified to cash out all or part of your Rewards.
Take control of your community toolbar’s performance
Get easy-to-use reports with vital statistics.
• How many users do you have? Where do they come from?
• What toolbar components do they use the most?
• How much revenue are you earning?
Use the power the information gives you.
• Optimize your toolbar.
• Keep checking if users like what you’re offering.
• Add components that attract and keep the users you want.
