The answer to that question probably can be found in the way so many people got into direct network marketing in the first place.

It was a very traditional approach based on an offline marketing approach that work for a long time.

But today things are very different than they were a few years ago. Direct network marketing has become much more difficult. It’s hard to find good qualified leads. While it may seem sometimes like mission impossible, there is away to get ahead of the game. Here’s how it should work. Build a web presence that allows you to build a list of subscribers independent of any direct network marketing opportunity. Your list now becomes your most valuable asset – a list that you have developed a relationship with. You now have the basis for multiple streams of income. I can’t stress enough the importance of building a list outside of your direct network marketing business. Network marketing businesses come and go. You may decide to move to another opportunity. But you will always have your list. With the strong relationship you have built with them they might move right along with you to your new opportunity.

Rain- seems like that’s what we got for almost the entire summer! At what point did New York and Seattle trade places and I had no clue?

As rain was the lead subject of discussion for most of us Northeasterners the beginning of the Summer, it brings to mind a seminar on Branding I learned from Dr. Benjamin Mack which co-incidentally he entitled How to Be a Rainmaker.

Over the next bunch of articles or so I will attempt to reveal some of the crucial parts of this seminar which was comprised of three main sections: 1) How to make lightning Strike, 2) How to keep the lightning striking and 3) How to Bottle your Lightning.

Those not aware of who Ben Mack is should know that he ranks is one of the big Kahunason Branding today in the country bar none! Mr. Mack (or should I say Dr. Mack) has held tenure some of the best advertizing agencies during his memorable career. How does Vice President for Brand Strategy at one of the major corporations sound to you?

In a nut shell what that means is he was in charge of a budget of ” billion dollars (now thats a lot of money)! To me that indicates someone who has some clout on Branding, do we see eye to eye? Aside from being a professional magician, Ben Mack has worked magic for most of his employers, and at age 19 was the beneficiary of the prestigious (if your into magic) Award of Merit given by the Magic Castle.

For those alien to the concept of what a rainmaker is, a rainmaker is one medicine man not withstanding who instead of insuring a good harvest for his tribe brings increased revenue to his business by the use of his or her political clout, ability to attract customer therfore making the people he works for happy.

As an internet Marketer your chief duty is to “up sell” individuals on their perception of reality. In Ben Macks book “Think Two Products Ahead” he speaks of how effective branding only occurs when companies think two products ahead rather then thinking just for the moment and for them to assemble a prosperous relationship with their clients by means of their Brand The section in the book where Ben talks about creating your Legend Platform is just fantastic!

Your “Brand” (the one called YOU!) is constructed around the notion of a “legend” or tale and somewhere down the road get stronger with time. These stories are acceptable to be contradictory to each other. So, if you had to choose what type of story you would use to make your business sparkle like a diamond (you are reading articles like these to do so correct?) why not have them be legends. How else will you become “Legendary” in your chosen field without them?

You need to find yourself in the career path you choose and find that passion in you to do it. Grab every opportunity. If there is none, create it and make it your life.

The future is as you make it. Move today and not tomorrow. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Decide and act now. Moreover, do not just live dreaming of the future with your streams of cash overflowing your account.

Multi level marketing training comes in various flavors. The concept of this training is to teach you how to get your recruiting message across to prospect. Also to understand that you have to find a method that is comfortable for you as well as your prospects.

Another key consideration is that when you are going to give a presentation you need to allot enough time to present the “whole story.” This is another key point. Make sure that when you are going to do a presentation that the prospect knows in advance how much time you will spend together. You don’t want to have this whole great presentation ready and then have your prospect get up and say.. “Sorry but I’ve got to go now.” Not only is that a disservice to you, but the prospect got cheated because they didn’t get to see the whole picture. Since we live in a microwave society we’re conditioned to make snap decisions usually without enough information. To avoid this trap make sure you have prepared your prospect for the exact amount of time you will need together and understand the format you will present with.

Three primary presentation formats are:

We have belly to belly.. vanilla.

There is MLM recruiting by telephone, chocolate.

There is MLM Internet marketing, pistachio.

Find the format that fits your personality and find the one that fits your new team member’s. Wait, no it’s not. That’s not how the real world works. You need to have people coming to you, first of all, and they have to be in the target market. Today I’ll be telling you how and why Internet based marketing can give you more bang for your buck than the traditional offline advertising and marketing model. For example:

You go to your local newspaper and you tell them you want to place an ad. While there, you ask them how many readers they have or what are the circulation numbers – and they give you a round about number. You also ask, what the demographics are, and they give you a general answer, as they do not exactly know.

You go ahead and place your ad in the classifieds and hope for the best. You can try to track how many visitors you receive as a result of this ad by putting some code on your website to count visitors who came to your site from the URL in the ad. If there is a phone number in the ad, you can have a code included in the ad so that you can track where you are getting the calls form.

Now, of course, you need to wait and have your ad go out in the next newspaper edition. After about a week, you start to get some calls and some website traffic. You measure that against what your ad cost you. You might find that with 10 leads, the ad is costing you five dollars a visitor, for a final ad cost of $50.

In this example, we do very well and make one sale. Now, you may get other trickle in calls over the coming weeks, as often, people keep the newspaper and respond to an ad later.

In the next example, let?s say you start a Pay per click campaign. Using this method, you research keywords that are relative to your product or service. You can get as targeted as you want, plus you can leave a few keywords in the broad category to see if there are other keywords you may be missing when trying to capture this market.

With pay per click, you ad is up and being viewed in minutes by millions of people using Google, in this example. Best of all, you only pay when people click on the link in your ad!Suppose that you pay a dollar per click and have a conversion rate of 2% – you will spend $50 per sale that you make.

However the advantage here is that you can track which keywords are leading to keywords, and which are not and refine your ad campaign accordingly to maximize your conversions.This makes your campaign more cost effective, not to mention bringing in more sales than a newspaper ad.

If you’ve also used more general keywords, you can track how much traffic that this approach has netted you. On the other side of the coin, you’ll be able to place ads on websites whose readerships demographics match the market you’re targeting.

The point is this; when it comes to online advertising, your ability to measure the performance of your advertising is far better.

Another point to make is that pay per click is only one way to advertise online. You can also use other cost-effective marketing techniques online, such as targeted article writing relevant to your business, writing a press release, and running advertisements in complementary online e-zines. Perhaps the most effective of these, though, is e-mail marketing, as long as it’s done correctly.

Internet based marketing can keeps your advertising costs low while boasting better performance than print advertising campaigns. The tracking allows you to keep on top of your campaign and get information on its effectiveness almost instantly – and this kind of adaptability is just what your business needs in this competitive marketplace.
