As summer quickly approaches, we students are again looking for the ideal college student summer jobs. Given the current state of the global economy, it is far more likely these days that college students will have alot of trouble keeping the current jobs they do have, let alone finding a new one.
How should we best proceed in an economy such as this where college student summer jobs are in short supply? Us college students need think creatively about different ways we can keep ourselves occupied and get the money we need during the summer break. So think to yourself “what kind fo things could I be doing to make money this summer instead of the usual college student summer jobs?”
Now that you are pondering this question, did you come up with ideas like painting your neighbor’s house, babysitting your neighbor’s kids, washing cars on the streetcorner? Those could all be good ways to make extra income, but they all depend on getting paid one time for the work that you do. What is something you could do that you could do once and get paid for repeatedly?
Students everywhere are discovering the enormous potential to make money on the internet. My first experience with this was at a site called college-money-reality.com, where they teach an online marketing method called affiliate marketing. The best thing about this site is I find out all I needed by watching a video by a college student named Josh, I didn’t need to read anything.
So what is going to be your choice among college student summer jobs? Do you want to work for someone else or for yourself? I can tell you from personal experience the stress of working a conventional job at 45 hours a week and studying 40 hours a week, with exams to prepare for as well.
I was starting to go crazy. I was getting burnt out with all I had to do. It got even more difficult when I first learned internet marketing, as this was just another thing added to my plate-which was already full.
I will say now that it was well worth the effort to learn how to do internet marketing as my choice among college student summer jobs. Today, I am realizing the wonderful benefits of working only about 10 hours a week on internet marketing and making a full-time income and beyond. Finally, I’ve been able to say goodbye to my other job and make my college life a whole lot easier.
